TravelUR – a startup based in Scottsdale, Ariz., with a branch office in Exton – combines user data and preferences to provide the best vacation experience for its customers, writes Ishika Giri for The Startup Journal.

In addition to planning and charting out the whole trip, the startup creates unique experiences through its social media app and website. These connect users with family, friends, and fellow travelers, so they can chat and post about their travel adventures.

TravelUR provides booking services from the point of view of travelers, an important feature as the experiences and reviews left by previous visitors are important for other travelers. The firm also combines social engagement with travel services, so people can customize their profile to get the best available deals.

The company was launched in April 2017 by extensive travelers Sunil Konduru and Sekhar Kolla. Konduru, who currently lives in the Greater Philadelphia area, has 25 years of corporate experience, but decided it was time to try something new.

“I wanted to combine my knowledge of technology with my passion, and come up with a unique and helpful tool for travelers,” he said.
