Transamerica Life Insurance Co.

Transamerica said it will be transitioning 192 employees from its Exton offices to an unnamed third-party service administrator, Tata Consultancy Services, writes Jeff Blumenthal for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Transamerica is moving the administration and servicing of its life, annuity, supplemental health, and workplace voluntary benefits business lines to TCS. The more than 2,000 employees across the U.S. who support this business received jobs offers from TCS. Those who accepted have the opportunity to remain where they are currently based.

Patti Brennan

Key Financial

Forbes has named Patti Brennan, the CEO of Key Financial in West Chester, as one of its Best-in-State Wealth Advisors for 2018. Brennan is ranked No. 4 in Pennsylvania among all male and female wealth advisors.

Using a comprehensive algorithm process, SHOOK Research analysts whittled down a nominated field of more than 21,000 advisors to an impressive list of 88 top advisors in the state. For consideration, applicants must meet specific quantitative data, including retention, revenue, and a clean compliance record.

“This award speaks volumes to my team of 22,” said Brennan. “I believe Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson put it best when asked about the reason for his team’s success: ‘An individual can make a difference, but a team makes a miracle.’ I wouldn’t be here if it were not for my bright and dedicated team.”
