Sly Fox Gets Revitalized Look Ahead of Release of Two New Brews
Sly Fox Brewing from Pottstown and Phoenixville is getting a revitalized look ahead of the release of its two new brews, writes Donna Rovins for the Daily Local News.
The new logo and packaging are part of a brand “refresh” and can already be seen in some merchandise on the company’s website, said Brewmaster Brian O’Reilly.
The company’s logo also gets a modern update, with the letter “Y” in the word “Sly” now depicting a bushy fox tail to symbolize the red and gray foxes indigenous to the Keystone State. The words “Brewing Company” are there to reinforce Sly Fox’s reputation as one of craft-beer movement’s pioneering leaders.

The new seasonal offering Mudlust, a coffee-style porter, will be available by mid-January in 12-ounce cans, while a year-round offering called Vulpulin IPA is expected in February.
“It’s been a little nerve-wracking getting everything up and running,” said O’Reilly. “A brand refresh is kind of like changing your hairstyle. You’re still the same person, and you hope people will look a second time and notice.”
