One of the ways a prominent real estate developer is courting over-55 renters into moving to King of Prussia Town Center is by offering amenities galore that will uphold a lifestyle they may have always dreamed about, as they shed the headaches of home ownership.

Besides having Wegmans market and more than a dozen of the most diverse restaurants to ever form an appetizing cluster as their close neighbors, Canvas Valley Forge residents will enjoy such fringe benefits as complimentary rides from transportation service Lyft, at-home veterinary care for pets, King of Prussia Mall shopping perks and even packing-up-and-moving assistance, writes Gary Puleo in The Times Herald.

It’s all part of King of Prussia-based general contractor and real estate firm The Buzzoto Group’s unique approach to catering to folks in the prime time of their lives, noted Pete Sikora, Development Manager for Canvas Valley Forge.

“Canvas Valley Forge is a first of its kind 55-plus community because it allows residents to maintain the lifestyle they’ve grown accustomed to in their large family homes, while breaking free from the costly and time-consuming responsibilities of home ownership,” Sikora said. “Canvas’ thoughtful amenities and brand partnerships allow residents to ‘right-size’ their homes without feeling like they are compromising their holiday traditions or hobbies. Amenities such as a test kitchen welcome guest chefs and house wine, whiskey and beer tastings; the formal dining room can be reserved for large family gatherings or holiday celebrations; the workshop studio allows residents to continue to pursue their passions, or pick up a new hobby; and guest suites are on site for when additional space is needed, allowing residents an unmatched living experience that promotes a vibrant, flexible lifestyle.”

According to the website, canvasvalleyforge.com, apartment rentals start at $1,995 for a one-bedroom, one bath.

“There are four traditional models of the apartments: one bedroom; one bedroom plus den; two bedrooms and two bedrooms plus den,” Sikora explained. “However, there are over 30 variations of floor plans that potential tenants can choose from. Some of the differences between floor plans include entertaining style units, powder rooms, full-size laundry rooms, pantries, moveable islands and oversized balconies.”
