Greg Pilotti of Greg Pilotti Furniture Makers in Parkesburg will share his knowledge and expertise at next year’s Wood Pro Expo in Charlotte, writes Bill Esler for Woodworking Network.
The 28-year-old woodworker is already a seasoned manager with a carefully developed plan for the growth of his company. In fact, he was recognized earlier this year when he received the 2017 Wood Industry 40 Under 40 Award.

Pilotti trained in the commercial woodworking program at Stevens Tech in Lancaster, where he now teaches a few classes. His studies there inspired him to add the historically inspired designs of the heirloom-quality furniture his business is now known for.
At his presentation at Wood Pro Expo on Feb. 14, Pilotti will share the techniques he uses to recruit young workers, like using social media.
“A lot of people tell me that they can’t even find applicants for jobs,” said Pilotti. “I have two or three people lined up for every opening.”
