They came. They saw. They conquered … the runway.

More than 400 runners and walkers recently took to the runway of the Brandywine Airport in West Chester for the wild and wacky United Way Conquer the Runway Color 5K.

This fundraiser netted more than $26,000 for the United Way of Chester County Financial Stability Center.

Presenting sponsors Brandywine Hospital and UPS-Chesapeake District led the way to record sponsorship for this year’s event. The five color stations were sponsored by:
