For more than a century, Malvern Federal Savings Bank has been committed to helping people build prosperous communities as a trusted financial partner, forging lasting relationships through teamwork, respect, and integrity.

That community partnership was on full display recently, as Malvern Federal’s employees collected funds to provide the residents of Melmark gifts for the holidays.

Melmark is a multi-service agency that provides residential, educational, and therapeutic services for children and adults with autism, intellectual disabilities, brain injuries, and other neurological and genetic diagnoses.

Anthony C. Weagley, Malvern Federal’s CEO, the Board of Directors, and employees participated in a Jeans Day. A total of $1,335 was collected to help fund the gifts for Melmark residents.

Through this collection, as well as a generous donation by the bank, more than 100 gifts were purchased.

Linda Laurent, Malvern Federal’s Vice President of Residential Lending, completed all the shopping and wrapping, along with help from her family and co-workers.

Laurent and her husband Dave then delivered the gifts to Cyndie Martin, the Director of Community Affairs at Melmark.
