Committed to Helping Veterans, DNB First Donates $3,000 to Operating Base Cecilia
As part of its ongoing commitment to helping veterans, DNB First recently donated $3,000 to Operating Base Cecilia.
Headquartered in Coatesville, Operating Base Cecilia is an outreach of the Veterans Multi-Service Center and Catholic Social Services, and serves veteran families in Chester, Montgomery, Bucks, and Delaware counties.
Vince Liuzzi, Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer at DNB First, presented the check to program representatives Geoff Hurnyak of the Veterans Multi-Service Center and Amy Stoner of Catholic Social Services.
James Amato, Secretary for Catholic Human Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, was also in attendance.

The donation was part of DNB First’s VA Loan promotion, an exclusive mortgage product for veterans, active military personnel, select reservists, and National Guard members that will help them realize the dream of homeownership. As part of the promotion, DNB First pledged to contribute $100 to Operating Base Cecilia for every mortgage application received throughout the month of November.
“We recognize and appreciate the contributions and sacrifices of the veterans in our community,” said Liuzzi. “DNB First is proud to support Operating Base Cecilia and the critical services the organization provides to deserving veterans and their families.”
Operating Base Cecilia provides supportive services for veteran families, access to emergency food and clothing, employment application assistance, training courses, personal life skill courses, and more.
“This contribution will help ensure that veterans and their families have access to additional services and support,” said Stoner. “We are grateful to DNB First for their partnership with us in assisting veterans, and are honored to receive this generous donation.”
