If you’ve ever walked through doors of Chester County Hospital, you understand that its story is as much about you as it is about the hospital.
The foundation of Chester County Hospital is a carefully sewn fabric. Durable and resilient, the threads that make each stitch are judiciously pieced together. The resulting pattern is culturally rich and enduring. The hospital’s stories and its culture are passed down and shared. And like the binding of a book, its mission is everlasting.
To commemorate its 125th anniversary, 125 Stories of Chester County Hospital, an anthology of the many men and women who molded Chester County Hospital into the magnificent institution it is today, will be released.

Through pictures and words, each page is filled with tales that recollect the strength, courage, and vision of the individuals, family, and neighbors responsible for its founding.
The book will be available for purchase on Dec. 6 in the Women’s Auxiliary Gift Shop, located on the first floor of the hospital. It will also be available in The Encore Shop, an upscale consignment store in Kennett Square. Purchase price is $39.99.
