Kathryn D. Markley Elementary School in the Great Valley School District ranks 25th in Niche.com’s 2018 rating of the Best Public Elementary Schools in Pennsylvania.

Chester County schools occupy nine of the Top 50 spots on Niche.com’s 2018 rating of the Best Public Elementary Schools in Pennsylvania.

Hillside and Beaumont elementary schools of the Tredyffrin-Easttown School District checked in at Nos. 11 and 12, respectively.

The ratings are based on rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Ranking factors include state test scores, student-teacher ratio, student diversity, teacher quality, grade school ratings, and the overall quality of the school district.
