SBA Loan Specialist (West Chester)

This position will ensure daily compliance with all federal (Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Section 404) and state regulations. He/she completes an extensive review of new and existing SBA and commercial loan files to ensure that all documents are present and in compliance with bank policy and various regulatory agency policies and guidelines. The person maintains required information and notifies appropriate personnel of SBA and commercial credit information deficiencies as appropriate.

He/she also organizes and maintains SBA and commercial loan files prior to loan closing, and contacts customers for required documentation. Other responsibilities include preparing all necessary SBA and commercial loan documents for closing, assisting SBA and Commercial Relationship Managers and other bank personnel with proper loan documentation procedures, and ordering appraisals, as well as other searches (corporate status, property search, flood search, credit reports) and searches specific to SBA (CAIVRS, SAM) as required.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree or commensurate working experience, comprehensive knowledge of all bank forms and documents used in providing commercial lending services, and proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills. He/she will have a working knowledge of bank commercial loan products and services, along with the operating policies and procedures that impact these products.

The person will also have excellent written and organizational skills and strong technical skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, SBA One, E Tran). He/she will be a professional in demeanor and have ability to maintain total discretion and confidentiality in all aspects of the position.
