From a high five at last year’s regular season finale to a one-on-one with New York Giants coach Ben McAdoo at training camp, Mini McAdoo Peter Costigan is more closely following in the NFL leader’s footsteps.

The Wayne 12-year-old’s Mini McAdoo persona met personally with Coach McAdoo during a recent practice in East Rutherford, N.J., according to a New York Post report by Brian Lewis.

“My dad said we should go to training camp and dress you up as Ben McAdoo,” Costigan said. “Then we saw he had a new haircut, so I got the new haircut.”

Mini McAdoo is even mimicking some of the coach’s words of wisdom; he showed his appreciation of the opportunity to meet the Giants coach by giving McAdoo a sign featuring the quote, “We Gotta Get GREATER at Gettin’ GREAT.”

Mini McAdoo and his family are also hoping to see the Giants in action in Tampa Bay on Oct. 1, the article noted.
