The Maternal and Child Health Consortium recently recognized outstanding staff members, as well as supportive community members, at its Annual Awards Reception.

The following staff members were recognized for their dedication and performance within the organization:

• Alma Vidal, Family Health Advocate/Benefits Specialist for Healthy Start/Family Benefits Programs
• Alejandra Colin, Family Benefits Specialist for Family Benefits Program
• Kelly Lynch, Family Benefits Program Manager

MCHC also recognized the following community supporters: Church of the Holy Trinity and Barbara Fitzgerald-Turner, MA, SPHR, GPHR, SHRM-SCP.

MCHC staff members shared highlights from each program, such as updates on MCHC’s Family Benefits Program Back-to-School Campaign and recent successes from the Kennett Square Family Center.

A family that participates in MCHC’s Healthy Start Program shared its beautiful story of how it has benefited from the program. It also expressed its sincere gratitude for the support from its Family Health Advocate, Sonia Ortiz.

MCHC thanks all community supporters and staff members who continue to help the organization fulfill its mission to empower families to build a healthier and brighter future for their children by overcoming the social and environmental barriers that lead to poor health conditions in our communities.
