First Priority Bank

Malvern-based First Priority Bank has appointed Erwin K. Wenner to the position of Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer.

“Erwin is a broadly experienced banker who is well respected throughout Chester, Montgomery, and Berks counties,” said David E. Sparks, Chairman of First Priority Bank. “Our position in the market and commitment to serving our customers has made us a sought-after destination for the region’s top banking talent, and Erwin’s appointment certainly reflects that status.”

Wenner will be focused on developing and broadening a commercial loan portfolio of existing customers, as well as initiating new relationships throughout Berks, Chester, and western Montgomery counties. His 40-year career encompasses leadership positions at several Delaware Valley financial institutions, including the CEO position at two banks.

Eleanor Vaida Gerhards

Fox Rothschild

Eleanor Vaida Gerhards has been appointed co-chair of Fox Rothschild’s nationwide Franchising, Licensing & Distribution Practice Group. She, along with co-chair Elizabeth D. Sigety, will lead a team of more than 40 attorneys in 22 offices coast to coast who represent franchise and distribution companies across all classes of industrial, retail, food, entertainment, service, technology, or home-based businesses.

Named a “Legal Eagle” by Franchise Times Magazine and an IFA Certified Franchise Executive, Vaida Gerhards concentrates her practice on commercial transactions and compliance matters representing primarily franchisors, area developers, and master franchisees.

Lincoln University

Art enthusiasts and supporters of higher education are invited to attend an evening at the Barnes Foundation to support Lincoln University’s Endowed Undergraduate Student Research Scholarship Fund. The Fund was established in partnership with Lincoln’s Class of 1970 to support the work of select undergraduate students from their chosen discipline who undertake scholarly projects.
