Longwood Gardens has announced that timed admission tickets for its Summer of Spectacle season celebrating the return of the Main Fountain Garden will go on sale Monday, April 3 at 10 AM.

In addition to being a great garden of the world, Longwood is also home to the most significant fountain collection in North America, and the jewel of that collection, the Main Fountain Garden, is returning after a two-year revitalization.

The Main Fountain Garden now includes dynamic new spinning and spiraling fountain features, jets propelling water as high as 175 feet, new fountain lighting, and a more welcoming and immersive garden experience for guests.

Summer of Spectacle runs May 27-Sept 30, and features daily fountain performances and a variety of special events throughout the season. The Gardens are open from 9 AM-6 PM Sunday-Wednesday, and 9 AM-10 PM Thursday-Saturday for Illuminated Fountain Shows. Admission is by timed admission ticket only. Members may visit anytime, but require free timed reservations if visiting after 5 PM Thursday-Saturday evenings.

A variety of activities are planned throughout the Summer of Spectacle. Every day, guests can see Main Fountain Garden performances, now set to music, at 11 AM, 1 PM, 3 PM, and 5 PM; additional half-hour evening shows are at 7 and 9:15 PM Thursday-Saturdays only.

New discoveries await in the Main Fountain Garden, including the secluded Grotto, the welcoming Pumphouse Plaza, and the Historic Pump Room & Gallery exhibit, which highlights the Garden’s original construction and showcases the original 18 pumps and mechanical systems that powered the fountains from 1931 to 2014.
