Fresh2You Mobile Market, a project of Chester County Food Bank, provides fresh produce, healthy food staples, and educational resources to communities that lack access to high-quality, affordable food.
The market accepts SNAP/EBT and other food assistance benefits, and customers are provided with cooking and nutrition education resources. We place a priority on local sourcing, and we work in partnership with CCFB’s Agriculture Program to offer a variety of fresh and seasonal foods.
Under the direction of the Fresh2You Market Manager, the Market Assistant will work on-site at market locations, supporting basic market operations in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. S/he will conduct sales and provide excellent customer service, creating an engaging and welcoming atmosphere.
The Market Assistant will support the management and maintenance of market inventory, equipment and supplies. S/he will also develop and implement outreach and promotion efforts; and complete office-based tasks related to record-keeping and correspondence.
