ID Support Coordinator

This position facilitates, coordinates, and monitors services for individuals with intellectual disabilities; works with consumers and their families both in their homes and/or in provider agencies; and attends off-site meetings as required.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in sociology, psychology, gerontology, or a related social science; or two years of experience as a County Social Service Aide 3 and two years of relevant college-level course work.

Summer Clerk/Public Bathing Places Inspector

This position performs annual, complaint, and follow-up inspections of public bathing places; reviews, analyzes, and enters data related to weekly bacterial sample results; maintains related records and files; and performs other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to compose professional field reports that accurately and succinctly outline violations of Chester County Rules and Regulations; and will be able to pass criminal background and child abuse checks.

Building Security Officer (Pocopson Home)

This position maintains security of the building and parking lot; watches for and reports irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and unlocked security doors; ensures that boilers are operating properly; and escorts prisoners to and from the prison to work in the facility.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED; one to three months of related experience and/or training; excellent organizational, multitasking, and written and verbal communication skills; and a valid driver’s license.
