Matt Gorham of The Matt Gorham Group recently received the Cultural Icon Award at Keller Williams’ Exton office, which is home to more than 200 real estate agents, for his service not only in the work place but also in the community.

Gorham is a mentor to other real estate agents, helping them improve their business and meet personal goals. A Coatesville native, he has served as president of the Coatesville Little League for the past five years, and leads a number of charitable efforts within his team.

Gorham and his crew are the two-time reigning champions of the United Way of Chester County’s Peanut Butter and Jelly Drive, having led a campaign last year that ultimately donated 2,093 pounds of the products to help end the cycle of poverty and hunger in our region.

Attorney Jane Donze has declared her candidacy for Magisterial District Judge for the court serving Birmingham, Pennsbury, Pocopson, Newlin, Kennett, and East Marlborough townships, and Kennett Square Borough.

Donze cites her more than 25 years of experience as a practicing attorney as both a prosecutor and defender in the criminal justice system, as well as her extensive experience as a civil litigator on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants and in family law cases, as qualifying her for the position. She currently serves on the East Marlborough Township Planning Commission and has served in numerous volunteer organizations, including La Communidad Hispana and the United Way of Southern Chester County.

“My passion for and interest in the administration of justice began at an early age,” Donze said. “My favorite aunt and lifelong mentor was a judge. She inspired me to join the legal profession and instilled in me an abiding respect for the awesome responsibility that comes with being a judge. I am immensely proud of and care deeply about our community and its people.”
