West Chester’s Levante Brewing to Ring In New Year in Casual, Affordable Style

By

levanteWest Chester’s Levante Brewing is throwing a special New Year’s Eve event, and everyone 21 and older is invited.

There will be music by Adam McCue and Tim Goodwin, “The Meat Wagon BBQ” food truck, 17 beers on tap, a complimentary hard cider toast at midnight, and the ball drop shown on a television installed just for this occasion, as the brewery is typically a television-free establishment.

“Basically, our NYE event is designed to give people an inexpensive option to celebrate the New Year,” said Levante owner James Adams. “Traditional events require a hefty fixed-price fee, pressure to dress up, and are more formal in nature.

“However, at Levante, we are ‘chill,’ and we want people to join us in a very relaxed atmosphere where you can be yourself, drink what you want, eat what you want, stay as long as you want, but not spend more than you want.

“We want our guests’ first moments of 2017 to be happy ones, without any reservations, worry, or hassles. The New Year is a time of positivity, and it should be spent among friends, who, in our case, enjoy good craft beer.”

The event has no cover charge and will kick-off at 4 PM and last until 1 AM. (For anyone wanting to drop by early or get growlers filled for their own parties, the brewery will open at noon.) The staff at Levante is encouraging everyone to be “extra” casual: wear pajamas and a hoodie or hats and mittens, as they may open their main glass garage door during the evening.

Levante is located at 208 Carter Drive, Suite 2, in West Chester. Plenty of parking is available.
