WCU-2c_logo-CMYK_outlinesWest Chester University has added another hat — or graduation cap, rather — to its prestigious reputation as an educational institution of excellence.

Last Saturday, WCU handed out its first-ever doctoral degrees to students who pioneered its new graduate-level nursing and public administration programs, according to a Daily Local News report by Adam Farence.

“I’m incredibly honored and proud,” WCU graduate coordinator Cheryl Schlamb said. “I’m especially proud of this group going through since there was a learning curve.”

WCU’s new doctoral degrees were conferred by Interim President Christopher Fiorentino to more than 20 students in Hollinger Field House.
