Herr Foods, the manufacturer of the world’s greatest-tasting potato chip, is the jewel of southern Chester County, and the family-oriented company is looking for new members. Systems Administrator

This position performs daily system monitoring, reviews system and application logs, and verifies completion of scheduled jobs. He/she performs daily backup operations, ensuring that all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media. The person performs ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree with a technical major, such as information systems or computer science. He/she will have two years of experience working in a technical environment. Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and knowledge of SQL are a plus.

Recruiter

This position reviews, assesses, and provides feedback on candidate profiles and submits candidates that are located in multiple geographic locations. He/she coaches hiring managers in best practice and interviewing techniques through conducting annual training sessions and preparing training materials. The person manages the offer process, including salary discussions, negotiations, reference checks, and offers.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in human resources. He/she will have past experience as a recruiter and strong sourcing skills, including knowledge of LinkedIn, Indeed, and CareerBuilder. Strong Microsoft Office skills and prior experience with web-page design are a plus.

Accounting Specialist

This position monitors and analyzes scan-based trading inventory activities for direct store delivery and distribution, vending, and international sales. He/she verbally and electronically communicates with sales teams in regard to strategic recommendations, inventory, discovered and recurring issues, and product activity trends. The person is responsible for the overall maintenance of inventory records, sales invoices, and collections for the Herr’s Angus Farm.

The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field or a minimum of four years of related experience and/or training. He/she will preferably have related experience in inventory control and/or accounting.
