Chester County Author to Host Slate of Book Signings This Month

Chester County author Bruce Mowday will host today’s Living History program on WCHE 1520 on Pearl Harbor with guest Terence Farrell, Chester County Commissioner Chair.

“December 7 is the day that will live in infamy in our nation’s history, according to President Roosevelt. Commissioner Farrell just visited Pearl Harbor, and I’m looking forward to the interview,” Mowday said.

The show airs at 1:00 PM.

Mowday will be signing books and giving talks at a number of venues this month.

On Saturday, Mowday will be a part of the Historic Sugartown holiday celebration from 11 AM-4 PM. He will also give a talk on Dec. 15 in King of Prussia on his book Pickett’s Charge: The Untold Story.

Mowday also has two talks at Citadel Federal Credit Union on the horizon. On Friday, Dec. 16 from 11 AM-3 PM, he’ll be at the Downingtown branch, and on Dec. 23 from 3-5 PM, he’ll be at the Thorndale branch with authors Karol Collins and Linda Milanese Kerschner.

Mowday will be at the Exton Barnes & Noble for three holiday signings. On Dec. 17, he’ll be there from 11 AM-2 PM, on Dec. 23 from 10 AM-2 PM, and on Dec. 24 from 10 AM-12 PM.

On Dec. 18, Mowday and his daughter Melissa will be signing their new West Chester book at the Devon Barnes & Noble from 12-2 PM.

Mowday is an award-winning author and newspaper reporter, having written more than 16 books on history, sports, business, and true crime. He has appeared on the Discovery ID channel, C-SPAN, the Pennsylvania Cable Network, and Philadelphia and local television shows.
