Last week, employees from Saint-Gobain, the world’s largest building materials company, which has its North American headquarters in Malvern, participated in a hands-on, bike-building exercise to foster team camaraderie.

Employees were divided into approximately 11 groups, and tasked with working together to build a bike.

After employees completed the building activity, the bikes were donated to children from the Boys & Girls Club of Chester. The children arrived at Saint-Gobain’s headquarters on 20 Moores Road to test out their new bikes and take them for a spin.

Saint-Gobain, the world leader in sustainable environments, has designed and manufactured high-performance building materials that improve the lives of people all over the world. From the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles and the glass pyramid at the Louvre, to The Statue of Liberty and The World Trade Center, and even components that allow the Mars Rover Curiosity to seek out life on another planet, Saint-Gobain has been a part of the fabric of human history, advancement, and improvement.
