Saddened by the news that historic Crebilly Farm in Westtown Township is going to be converted into 385 homes, Mindy Worth Rhodes literally got on her horse to galvanize nearby residents to help preserve it, writes Kathleen Brady Shea for Chadds Ford Live.

Rhodes printed more than 100 flyers and rode out to neighboring properties on Oct. 9 to hand them out.

“We still have an opportunity to work toward preserving the Brandywine Battlefield and push for open space in the development plans,” Rhodes said in the flyer. “Now is the time to work toward this goal!”
