Leaders of Devon Manor are changing more than just the sheets of their facility’s 131 beds; they’re changing owners.

HCR ManorCare just announced it is selling Devon Manor, and though the buyer remains unknown, HCR promised a “smooth” changeover.

“HCR ManorCare has made the decision to sell Devon Manor, a facility operating under the company’s umbrella,” the firm stated in a Philadelphia Business Journal report by John George. “We are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for everyone involved.”

The employees holding 124 positions at Devon Manor will be in limbo starting Nov. 17; no details about the new owner’s hiring plans were made public.
