Campaigning on the key ingredients for shaping today’s youth into tomorrow’s leaders, the YMCA of Greater Brandywine on Tuesday championed 1-year-old Zoe for president … in 2064.

The Advocacy Day rally featured the YMCA’s impressive track record in fostering early learning readiness, avoiding summer learning loss and hosting after-school programs, as well as a “debate” among “vice presidential” candidates who highlighted their YMCA involvement.

“There are many children in need of support in Chester County. That’s why we are supporting the Zoe for President campaign as we continue to focus on leveling the playing field for every Zoe,” President and CEO Denise Day said. “We award over $3 million in financial assistance to over 16,000 members of our community annually, much of which is focused on fostering youth development right here in our community.”
