This Weekend: Volunteer Opportunities at Iron Hill Twilight Race Series

The Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce is calling all volunteers to help out on Saturday, Aug. 20, during the 12th Iron Hill Twilight Race Series.

A front-row seat to the action of the 12th Annual Iron Hill Twilight Race Series, a free T-shirt and lunch awaits anyone (16 yrs. and older) willing to chip in and give back to the community as a volunteer.

Whether for a few hours or all day long on Saturday, Aug. 20, volunteers will play a critical role in hosting the best riders from across the nation for both the men’s and women’s Iron Hill Twilight Criterium.

Volunteers can choose from a variety of tasks including set up and tear down of the race course in downtown West Chester, facilitate morning race trials at West Chester Bayard Rustin High School, man the Kid’s Zone and Kid’s Race, put on the community festival, assist with vendor load-in and roll out the Iron Hill Twilight Trike Challenge.

Volunteer shifts begin at 11 a.m. and run through midnight. Whole teams and individuals are welcome.
