Put on your lobster bib and grab some melted butter! Andy and Mary Gadaleto, owners of Gadaleto’s Seafood Market, recently announced their plan to relocate to Westtown Village at 202 and 926.

Westtown Village is one of the most well-maintained shopping centers in the West Chester area. When looking to relocate, we wanted to make sure that we were able to grow as well as improve our customers’ experience,” Andy said.

The lease has been signed and the plans are motion – now the Gadaleto family is starting to get excited. If you are one of Gadaleto’s devoted customers, you may have noticed the sign posted in the window of their current location, with information about the location change.”

Our customers are excited about our move because of new store’s central location and proximity to Rt 202. Customers are also pleased about the option to purchase take-out seafood, all year round.”

The owners said that since Gadaleto’s Seafood Market has been located in Parkway Center for 13 years the decision to relocate was one that came with a great deal of consideration.

The main driver for relocating is to better serve our customers. We were pleased when we found the Westtown Village location and could not be happier with the partnership that we have formed with the landlord, Kurt Wolter.  His support has been unparalleled”.

Family is another consideration in Andy’s decision. “One of my main goals is to create a legacy for my daughters, the way my grandfather and uncle did for me”.

The support of his wife and father have also been driving factors for Andy’s success over the last 13 years.  “Mary and my dad have given me unconditional support and have helped me in ways that I will most likely never be able to repay”.

The new location is larger and has fantastic natural light; an excellent environment in which to sell fresh crabs, shrimp, live or steamed lobsters, Andy’s award-winning crab cakes and fresh fish fillets. Andy plans to offer a greater array of prepared seafood dishes for his busy, health-conscious customers.

Gadaleto’s Seafood Market plans to open the doors of their new location in mid-Fall 2016. In order to achieve the goal of finding a larger store in more centralized location, the Gadaletos partnered with Nicole Lyddane and Chuck Swope of Swope Lees Commercial Real Estate, LLC.

And Andy Gadaleto could not have been happier with the way things worked out.

Nicky is an extremely talented agent and is not just interested in a sale but made sure it was the right fit for Gadaleto’s–today and for many years to come. The support we received from Swope Lees is excellent and beyond compare. While Gadaleto’s plans to be a long-term tenant in Westtown Village, if we were ever in need of a commercial real estate company, I would choose to work with Swope Lees again.”
