An accomplished trial lawyer and Malvern community leader has been picked to guide his peers for a year. Michael T. van der Veen was just elected to the board of directors for the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, according to a staff report in the Daily Local News.
As a Super Lawyer and national Top 100 Trial Lawyer, van der Veen is renowned for his expertise in personal injury and criminal defense cases, and he’ll bring that seasoned reputation to the state’s oldest trial lawyer organization.
Van der Veen is also a committed local leader, having served on the boards of the Philadelphia chapter of the American Diabetes Association, the YMCA, the Montgomery School and the Washington Square West Civic Association.
