Excitement Is Soaring for Downingtown’s New Urban Air Fun Park

Urban Air’s fun-filled new trampoline and adventure park in Downingtown is letting kids literally bounce off the walls for hours on end.

After a year in the making, the energy coming through the doors of Downingtown’s new Urban Air trampoline and adventure park when it opened for the first time on Saturday was almost overwhelming.

Local kids will literally be bouncing off the walls for months to come; excited parents booked reservations for 50 parties during the remainder of July and August without ever having stepped foot inside the first East Coast expansion of the wildly popular Texas franchise, according to a Daily Local News report by Brian McCullough.

The Chester County Urban Air covers 20,000 square feet, and it cost Taraschi Ventures more than $1 million to create the obstacle course, 75 trampolines, foam pit, battle beam, slam dunk zone, dodgeball arenas, running wall and more, the article noted.

“The kids are going to come and have fun no matter what,” Stephen Taraschi said. “The trick is, you have to cater to the parents, to give them a place where they can see their children but can also catch up on work or socialize amongst themselves.”

To that end, Urban Air offers a cafe and Wi-Fi-equipped parent lounge.
