Chester County Businesses Banding Together With United Way as Workplace Campaign Gets Underway

By

Increasingly, one of the nation’s most thriving economies is banding together to give back to the top-notch quality of life it enjoys, and the United Way of Chester County is the glue at the center of it all.

“We have a strong community thanks to the hundreds of local companies that offer their employees the opportunity to give back through a workplace campaign,” the organization asserts.

The United Way is ramping up its workplace campaigns this month and next to help meet this year’s goal. And while companies can chip in to make Chester County a better place to live and work with gifts of surplus goods, volunteer time, money or the organization of special events, local businesses can also reap significant benefits from giving back.

Through years of campaigns, the United Way has learned that consumers trust a company that’s involved in its community, partnering with the United Way builds teamwork and provides growth opportunities for employees, the more than 60 programs and services that help 150,000 people a year are a great morale-boosting cause, each campaign produces efficient and effective outcomes that are paired with volunteer oversight, and the resulting happier, healthier and more connected residents are also more productive.
