After one-and-a-half years of leading the Chester County Historical Society through difficult times, the future of Acting and Interim President David B. Reinfeld is crystal clear.

Reinfeld will become the director of campaign programs and major gifts at the clean water-focused Stroud Water Research Center now that the CCHS leadership handoff has been made through the hiring of new president Elizabeth M. Laurent from Girard College.

Reinfeld has served six years as vice president of development and “taken significant pride in enhancing our mission throughout his tenure,” a CCHS statement released Tuesday read. “… David has thoroughly enjoyed his time with our CCHS family and is looking forward to this new adventure starting mid-July. He will be missed by CCHS staff, supporters and members, and we are happy to know that he will remain close by and remain involved in historical society and community-wide activities!”
