Today DNB First announced its appointment of West Chester University Interim President Christopher M. Fiorentino to the bank’s 16-person DNB Financial Corp. Advisory Board and Riley Riper Hollin & Colagreco tax expert Robert A. Cohen to the 12-person DNB First Wealth Management Advisory Board.

“The perspective and advice of our advisory board members is critical to our ability to maintain DNB First’s long history of community engagement,” President and CEO William J. Hieb said. “As an institution of quality higher education, as a leading employer in the region and as a source of extraordinary professional talent, West Chester University is a cornerstone of our community, and Chris Fiorentino’s track record of leadership there makes him exceptionally qualified to serve on our advisory board.”

Since 1983, Fiorentino has served WCU as a professor, dean, vice president and now interim president.

Cohen has similarly honed his skills as a business, tax and estate specialist for closely held or family-owned businesses.

“Bob Cohen’s extensive legal experience, as well as his background as a CPA and corporate controller, will be an invaluable source of insight as we work to meet the wealth management needs of individuals, businesses and nonprofit organizations,” DNB First Wealth Management Managing Director Richard C. Weber said. “We look forward to his association with our team.”

Cohen counsels business owners and company executives on matters relating to business planning and exit strategies, mergers and acquisitions, federal and state tax planning, and estate planning and administration in Pennsylvania, New York, the Federal Court of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Tax Court.
