Executive Director Leaving CCFWG With Award-Winning Vision and Bright Future

By

After sparking a bold and innovative vision that has garnered the CCFWG prominent awards, Executive Director Susan Mostek is stepping down this month.

Her bold, innovative and award-winning vision of Chester County as a stronger advocate and safe haven for women and girls will live on, even though Chester County Fund for Women and Girls Executive Director Susan Mostek is stepping down from her leadership role this month.

In particular, Mostek’s vision to initiate a three-year strategic plan, renew the CCFWG’s mission, realign its grants program and commission a Blueprint Report update helped the fund garner the 2015 Mosteller Community Service Award from the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce and an Activating Leadership Grant for Women & Girls from EILEEN FISHER to support the CCFWG’s Girls Advisory Board with curriculum.

On Tuesday, the CCFWG will honor Mostek, several outgoing board members and the 23 agencies that put $255,000 of the fund’s grants to work to strengthen the physical well-being, safety and economic security of women, girls and their families in Chester County. That celebration is open to the public from 5 to 7 p.m. at The Gables at Chadds Ford. Call 610-388-7700 or email katherine@ccfwg.org to make reservations.

A transition committee and search team comprised of board members and community leaders will work to find the CCFWG’s next executive director. Read more news about the fund on VISTA Today here.
