Herr Foods, the manufacturer of the world’s greatest-tasting potato chip, is the jewel of southern Chester County, and the family-oriented company is looking for new members. Accounting Specialist

This position is responsible for the daily deposit of non-accounts receivable payments along with the daily re-deposit of bounced checks. He/she is also responsible for the daily automatic (ACH) bank transfer. The person will monitor and track medical and workers’ compensation payments daily, assist with monthly journal entries, and process and prepare monthly bank reconciliation.

The ideal candidate will possess an Associate’s Degree with two years of related experience. A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred. He/she will be detailed-oriented with the ability to interpret numerical and financial data. Proficiency with a 10-Key calculator (adding machine) is required, as the candidate must pass an assessment on it with a minimum score of 70 percent.

Business Analyst

This positon develops and issues reports focusing on sales and profitability of channels, accounts, and product categories. He/she will provide accurate and timely pre-defined and ad-hoc analysis to address existing and evolving business needs. The person will establish budget milestone dates, and assign due dates for budget responsibilities to divisional managers. The position will also assist with analysis of promotional performance across key accounts.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field, and have two to four years of business-analysis experience. Experience with the Business Intelligence Tool Set within Excel is required. He/she will have a strong understanding of the value and application of business analytics within an organization, with the drive and ability to lead change through the use of people, process, data and technology.

Route Sales Person – Kennett Square

This position will safely drive step-van delivery truck over assigned route to sell, deliver, and merchandise products, as well as provide excellent customer service to a variety of grocery, mass merchandise, and independent chain stores. Responsibilities include building relationships with key decision makers, inquiring about customer needs, communicating product knowledge and suggestive selling, and increase customer base by soliciting new accounts.

The ideal candidate must pass a job-related assessment with a score of 70 percent or better. He/she will possess a stable work history with good references, and display evidence of sound judgment and have the ability to adapt quickly to different work and driving conditions. The person will have strong communication, persuasion, and organizational skills.
