On June 16th, the Western Chester County Chamber will celebrate its 100th anniversary with “Gala on the Greene”. The gala will start at 4:30 p.m. on the grounds of The Lukens Historic District at 50 South First Avenue in Coatesville, and will feature keynote speakers and tours of the historic buildings, as well as entertainment and refreshments.

Coatesville’s Paul Woodland Named VA Police Officer of the Year

Officer Paul Woodland with the Coatesville Veterans Affairs Medical Center Police Department has been named VA Police Officer of the Year by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Woodland, who has been a patrol officer at the Coatesville VA Medical Center for eight years, has responded to more calls this year than any other Coatesville VAPD officer.

Egalet Settles Patent Dispute Over Oxycodone Drug

Egalet has settled a suit brought by Oxycodone drug makers Purdue Pharmaceuticals and Purdue Pharma. The settlement, which involved no financial obligation to either party, resolves claims filed in 2015 and 2016 that alleged Egalet’s Oxaydo drug infringed on Purdue’s Oxycodone patent.
