Berwyn’s Lauren Donovan Receives 2016 Lindback Award

Lauren Donovan, an Assistant Professor of Business at Delaware County Community College, is this year’s recipient of the prestigious Christian R. and Mary F. Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching. Donovan teaches business and marketing courses at the DCCC and co-leads the Quality Matters initiative that focuses on providing training to faculties that teach online courses.

Evolve IP Adds VP of Sales for Eastern US to Executive Sales Team

Evolve IP, the Wayne based cloud service company, announced on Tuesday that it has appointed Bob Maute as Vice President of Sales for the Eastern region of the United States. In his new position, Maute will be responsible for building and leading a team of cloud sales professionals who will concentrate on opportunities for the region.

Lockheed Looks at Sikorsky for Commercial Innovation

The eight percent decline in civilian helicopter traffic in 2015 has put a strain on Lockheed’s plans for newly acquired Sikorsky to diversify away from its military business, but has not put a stop to it. According to Dana Fiatarone, Head of Commercial Systems and Services at Sikorsky, the helicopter maker can still be competitive in the commercial market if it focuses on the introduction of new and innovative models.
