The Exton software company behind some of the biggest names in automotive websites just shifted into high gear with a brand new suite of offices in the Valley Creek Corporate Center.

HomeNet, which engineers the software for sites like Kelley Blue Book, and Cars.com, has accelerated hiring by 50 employees over the past two years and is now in the driver’s seat to bring in many more over the next three years, according to a Daily Local News report by Brian McCullough.

“HomeNet is clearly a successful organization that is investing in its employees — through training opportunities, through partnership with many service and community groups, as well [as] through consultation regarding the design and setup of the newly expanded offices,” Chester County Commissioner Kathi Cozzone said in the article. “I was grateful to meet the team there and to have the opportunity to talk with them about Chester County’s workforce development opportunities.”

The expansion comes six years after HomeNet’s acquisition by Cox Automotive.

“We have been tasked with several major projects by Cox Automotive … that will translate into the creation of approximately 50 full-time jobs over the next three years, which will all be based out of the Exton office,” Director of Business Development Marc Davis said. “This expansion of our physical location is just the first step in accommodating the forecasted growth of HomeNet over the next five years.”
