Vanguard’s CEO Welcomes New Efforts to Revise Advice Rule on Retirement

After Vanguard criticized the previous version, Chief Executive, Bill McNabb, said last week that he was encouraged by the steps taken by the U.S. Department of Labor to make the new rules on retirement savings advice “more workable.” The final version, which was unveiled by the Obama administration on Wednesday to a mixed response, ensures broker-dealers put the interests of their clients ahead of their own profits and appears less onerous than before.

Tom Musser Honored by Chester County Economic Development Council
