Director of Information Services

The position works under the direction of the Vice President of Services, and coordinates the activities of the Director of Information Technology and is responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of the Help Desk and Business Operations employees. He/she is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within the Information Services Department. This includes representing the department within the company.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or a related field, and have a minimum of 10 years of experience within information technology. He/she should have experience in the most current technologies and products used in the industry. The person will be an expert in many, familiar with most, but capable of understanding all of the following technologies supported by AGI’s Information Systems Department.

Software Engineer – Product Development

The position works on small, dynamic teams building commercial products within the Systems Tool Kit (STK) product portfolio. These products will include web and enterprise products. Responsibilities include much brainstorming and coding, as well as designing, implementing, and deploying products.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s (or Master’s) Degree in Computer Science, and have one to three years of relevant work experience. He/she should have a solid foundation in object-oriented design and development with a good understanding of software architectures. Proficiency using C++/Java/.Net languages is required.

Senior Hardware Infrastructure Engineer

The position will help architect, configure, and deploy hardware to support Service Oriented Architectures developed by AGI’s Product and Solution teams. He/she will work as a part of a matrixed team in a demanding technical environment, delivering software to the Defense and Space industries. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected to remote offices or customer locations.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or a related field, and have a minimum of eight years of experience within information technology. Experience in the most current technologies and products used in the industry is required. The person will be comfortable with troubleshooting diverse and complex systems. An active TS/SCI clearance is also required.
