Accountant (General)

This position oversees billing and revenue recognition. Responsibilities include updating the monthly Revenue Under Contract Report (RUC) which details recurring revenue type by client, and updating the VSOE analysis for all revenue streams. He/she will perform client recurring revenue variance analysis, and validate deferred revenue balances to ensure revenue has been recognized appropriately. The person will also administer deferred MCS Revenue for new clients which entails requesting revenue to be recognized upon customer go-live date

The candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting – a Master’s is preferred – and have ten years of progressive and relevant general accounting experience. He/she must be an intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft Excel, and be highly detail oriented and have excellent time management skills.

Commercial Contracts Management

This position will be reviewing, drafting, and negotiating non-disclosure agreements, software license agreements, ASP agreements, professional services agreements, joint marketing, distribution, and other agreements with customers of SunGard and its affiliates. He/she will have regular dealings with customers, both internally and externally. The person will also escalate, as appropriate, legal and business issues that arise during the contract negotiation process.

The candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, and/or paralegal certification, and/or other legal qualification. Experience at other software and IT services firms is desirable. He/she will have five to ten years in contract administration/contract negotiation ideally focused on software licensing, IT services and IT outsourcing. The person must have the ability to interact with all levels of company personnel, including senior management.

Risk and Compliance Analyst

This position will assist in identifying, managing, and reporting on risk and compliance activities across the organization. The individual will be required to work across various business disciplines and to have a well-founded knowledge of information security, business continuity and other risk related subjects. Responsibilities include communicating and coordinating business continuity strategic initiatives across the North American region.

The candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science, or have the equivalent work experience. He/she will have three to eight years of experience within related fields, and have the ability to work with vendors at both a business and technical level. Industry-related certification is beneficial, but not required (e.g., CISM, CISA).
