3D Auto, United Way Honored as the Best in Business by CCCBI

450It’s more than technology, and it’s more than innovation. The winners of this year’s Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry accolades plug those things into a commitment to serve their customers and community, and that makes all the difference.

CCCBI honored the countywide operations of 3D Auto Body & Collision Centers as its Small Business of the Year and bestowed the United Way of Chester County with Nonprofit Organization of the Year acclaim during the recent chamber banquet at The Desmond Hotel.

Keynote speaker Craig Adams distilled that philosophy into a statement of customer-centric service.

“Technologies we haven’t even imagined will continue to emerge and shape our future,” the president and CEO of PECO Energy, “the FedEx of electricity,” said in Daily Local News coverage by Brian McCullough. “We believe we understand the challenges you see as business owners and operators. … We’ll continue to work hard to earn your business.”

3D Auto’s namesake motto — Driven, Dedicated, Dynamic — speaks to that conviction as well.

458“Little did Dave (Niestroy) know that his ability to repair and paint cars, his attention to detail and never-ending desire to please his customers would quickly make 3D Auto Body & Collision Centers an industry leader in the region,” the chamber stated in the article.

Niestroy’s legacy has expanded from Exton and West Chester to serve Spring City, Oxford, Haverford and Wayne.

498For the United Way, having a vision for and focus on meeting key needs has paid dividends, particularly with its “Share the Warmth home repair and winterization program, First Call for Help, Days of Caring Volunteer Program and Leadership Chester County,” the chamber noted.

“Being named the Nonprofit of the Year is such an honor when you consider that there are so many really outstanding nonprofit organizations in Chester County,” President and CEO Claudia Hellebush said. “It makes us very proud to stand out in a field where so many are leaders. We don’t think of this as just any award. This is prestigious, coming from the Chester County Chamber, and we are very grateful for the recognition.”
