Brumbaugh Wealth Management Helps Support Community Children with Matching Funds
Showing its continuing involvement in helping to make things better within the local community, Brumbaugh Wealth Management, the firm which emphases comprehensive planning driven by advice, has donated $8,500 to four local non-profit organizations.
The amount was raised with the help and generous support of the Lincoln Financial Foundation that provided matching dollar amounts which helped to double the amount given this year.
The largest recipients of the much needed donations this year are Family Lives On, which received $5,000 to continue its work supporting children and teens who have lost a parent or both by continuing traditions they shared with them, and the Chester County Historical Society that preserves and shares the remarkable story of Chester County and its people while helping build community identity, which was presented with $2,000.
The other two recipients are the YMCA of Greater Brandywine, an association of nine YMCAs which offer important, life-changing programs for children, families and adults throughout Chester County which received $1,000. While Chester County Futures received $500 to help with its poverty prevention program which provides academic, mentoring and scholarship support for disadvantaged Chester County students who are motivated and eager to learn.
“Giving back to our community is a hallmark of the firm,” said CEO and Founder of Brumbaugh Wealth Management, Kimberly Brumbaugh. “We firmly believe in helping others by giving our time, sharing our talents, and providing monetary support to organizations who have demonstrated a need that supports the Firm’s 2015 giving theme of Supporting Our Community’s Children. Each of the recipients provides unique support and education to the children of Chester County.”
