Hedging Operations Team Member

This position is part of the central hedging operations group charged with managing derivative contracts and related post-trade processes including derivative matching platforms. His/her purpose is to continuously improve the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of the hedging operations and to serve clients with excellence after transactions are executed. The person will also manage the tracking and internal reporting of transaction operations.

The candidate will possess an array of skills relating to organization, initiative, attention to detail, consistent accuracy, strength in multitasking, verbal and written communication, and the ability to create, maintain, and improve highly effective processes.  A degree in finance is not required, but comfort with math and analytical concepts is important.  An individual’s talents and characteristics are of primary importance to the company.

Debt Management Consultant

This position will interact directly with clients to find missing information and ensure that all transaction details are accurate and complete. He/she will compile and capture the complete picture of a client’s debt through analysis of loan documents and data residing in disparate systems, spreadsheets, and notebooks.  Our clients love the fact that we can manage and centralize their loan information in one place. He/she will also be responsible for bringing new clients on board. The person should ultimately grow into an expert in loan contracts.

The candidate will possess a degree or the equivalent experience in accounting, finance, economics, paralegal roles, or specializations that require a good amount of reading with emphasis on analysis of data. Prior experience in economics or finance is not required. Most critically, Chatham is looking for individuals who want to make a long-term commitment to the team.

Staff Accountant

This position will assist in compiling monthly Defeasance information from various sources and putting it into the proper format for entry into the GL. He/she will analyze various expense accounts for monthly reporting purposes, and gain an understanding of Chatham’s travel reimbursement system and assist in the processing and monthly expense reporting. The person will develop an understanding of the billing and revenue structure.

The candidate will be a recent college graduate with up to two years of accounting experience. He/she will have systems knowledge: GL/Accounting software package, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
