Over 300 guests attended last week’s grand opening of Audi West Chester, MMCO’s newest luxury dealership in the Brandywine Valley.

Among the many distinguished guests who attended the launch of the new location was Scott Keogh, President of Audi of America.

The new state-of-the-art facility is located at 1421 Wilmington Pike, on the usually busy Route 202. The highway which links King of Prussia, West Chester, and Wilmington, puts the new dealership within a mile of several other luxury car outlets such as BMW, Mercedes, and Cadillac, and offers Audi West Chester increased presence and brand exposure in the always competitive luxury car market.

Designed by Gardner/Fox Associates of Bryn Mawr, the 48,000 square foot two story dealership was constructed with a 16 foot drop in the back. This allowed the architects to reduce the footprint of the dealership by fifty percent, as they could then place the Audi service shop under the customer reception areas and showroom.

The impressive new dealership also features 21 service bays with a carwash that is fully automated, new alignment equipment, as well as a full assortment of amenities that can help enrich the shopping experience for all its customers.

As part of the “green space” preservation initiative, the development also saw the planting of over 135 trees and bushes. In addition, the dealership is taking advantage of the latest advances in energy-efficient technology which have been put in place to get high quality results without wasting any energy in the process. This includes features such as fully-automated lighting, heating, and air-conditioning controls.

The Managing Partner of MMCO Auto, Keith Shaw, pointed out that both the Chadds Ford and Thornbury townships worked together diligently during the planning phase of the project to bring it to fruition and he also spoke about his optimism for the future of the dealership.
