ColdLight Highlighted As One Of Philadelphia’s Fastest Growing Companies For the Sixth Consecutive Year

By

Wayne based ColdLight, a visionary in predictive analytics and machine learning, has achieved 10th place on the Philadelphia 100 list ranking of the fastest growing companies in the region for this year.

Sponsors of the list include the Entrepreneurs’ Forum of Greater Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Business Journal, and Wharton Small Business Development Center. It is created annually through a research project to determine which businesses make up the backbone of the local economy. The goal of the search is to bring together these companies and provide opportunities for education, leadership, growth, and networking.

ColdLight which was acquired in May this year by PTC, the global provider of technology solutions that aims to transform the way products are created and serviced, has now been included in this prestigious list for an impressive sixth consecutive time.

“The Philadelphia region is full of innovative, successful companies that are serving the community through consistent growth,” said the President and General Manager of ColdLight, Ryan Caplan. “For ColdLight to be a Philly 100 winner for six consecutive years it validates the team, the technology and the services that are helping our customers. We are honored to once again be part of the prestigious Philadelphia 100 list for 2015.”

The Neuron technology developed by ColdLight enables developers working on the Internet of Things platform to integrate automated complex analytic capabilities into their applications. The aim is that they can do it without the need for them to be either a data scientist, or an expert in complex mathematics or machine-learning.

By combining Neuron with the PTC ThingWorx IoT platform, it creates a new generation of analytic tools that provide solution developers with a powerful set of already integrated capabilities allowing them to quickly create holistic solutions for their IoT environments. These creative solutions can then tackle the many challenges inherent inside the world of IoT, including manufacturing optimization and predictive maintenance.
