Siemens Healthcare Appoints a New Leader for its North American Regional Organization

David Pacitti has taken over as President of Siemens Medical Solutions USA, and is now the Head of Siemens Healthcare’s North America Regional Organization based out of Siemens Healthcare U.S. headquarters in Malvern.

Pacitti has taken over the reins from Gregory Sorensen, M.D., who left his position as the President and CEO after a successful five years. Pacitti comes to Siemens Healthcare from Abbott Vascular, where his role there was as Senior VP of U.S. Commercial Sales, Marketing and Operations.

His responsibilities will include leading Siemens Healthcare’s marketing, sales, service, and support functions in the U.S. for the entire Healthcare portfolio, as well as the oversight of Canadian operations.

Affiliated Distributors Shows Increased Sales for Q3

Affiliated Distributors, the Wayne based $31 billion contractor and industrial products wholesale buying and marketing group has reported its sales for the third quarter of 2015.  

With its 570 plus independently owned members, the group saw an overall rise of 3 percent year to date, with sales across its seven Divisions and three countries, coming in at $25.4 billion.

“Strong growth in residential and commercial markets was offset by increased softness within some industrial segments and lower copper prices,” said Bill Weisberg, AD’s Chairman and CEO. “However, AD’s scale and efficiency ensures that 100 percent of supplier rebates are distributed to our members and allows us to invest in people, services and innovative programs to support the business growth and profitability of our Members.”

Malvern Bancorp has a Positive Outlook after Fourth Quarter Earnings

Malvern Bancorp has released its earnings results for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2014 which show a total net income of $1.2 million. This reflects earnings per share for the quarter of $0.18, falling slightly short of the consensus market expectation of $0.20.

The company traded down by 0.63% during midday trading after the announcement on Monday, hitting $15.75 on trading volume of 1,890 shares. With a 52 week low of $11.15 and a 12 month high of $15.99, Malvern Bancorp is still trading near its peak and has market capitalization of $100.74 million.

“We feel that we have created the proper momentum for Malvern, our fourth quarter and year-to-date earnings reflect our fundamental core strength,” said Anthony C.
