Get ready to start your holiday celebrations early, as the 2015 MARS Drinks Old-Fashioned Christmas Parade presented by QVC is coming your way, and it is going to be bigger and better than ever before.

Hosted by the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce, annual West Chester tradition promises to provide a seasonal mix of traditional elements with a modern twist. The parade will start on Friday, December 4 at 7:15 pm, with marching bands, floats, and antique vehicles that are by now a staple of the Old-Fashioned Christmas experience.

These will be joined by local schools, businesses, volunteer fire companies, and other service organizations.
Returning as Master of Ceremonies for this year’s event is everybody’s favorite, 6abc’s Adam Joseph, together with QVC hosts Carolyn Gracie and Dan Hughes. The trio will be introducing speakers, entertainers, and other volunteers throughout the night.

The festivities will start long before the parade, as many local businesses and organizations all through downtown West Chester, will be holding Holiday Open Houses. These will feature a variety of entertainment and seasonal refreshments in anticipation of the parade. The 7th Annual Jingle Elf Run will also take place before the parade, with the 2-mile race (or 1-mile walk) kicking off at 6:30 pm.

One of West Chester’s premier events, the 36th Annual Mars Drinks Old-Fashioned Christmas Parade, will continue with Mars Drinks and QVC as its title and presenting sponsors respectively. Besides broadcasting live, on-site, with updates of the parade, QVC will also film extended parade highlights which will be broadcast on Christmas Day.
