InnovateHER Aims To Launch Women Into Innovation
The breakfast of champions is being served Thursday at the Great Valley Corporate Center; a handful of successful women entrepreneurs are looking to share their stories and inspire other women to embark on their own journeys of innovation at InnovateHER – Just Get Started!
“These strong, powerful and determined women have achieved great success in entrepreneurial business. Each woman resides at a different point in her business development and experience, and will share the resources and guidance that led to her success,” a trio of event sponsors — Biztract, i2n and Colliders Accelerator — wrote as an introduction.
“Whether you’re launching a brand new business or taking your existing company to new heights, this panel is here to help you to turn your idea into a profitable reality.”
Prominent female innovators will be featured in a question and answer panel offering insights into various stages of business success for fellow women of all career statuses, including:
● Joanne Lang, an entrepreneur who left a full-time job in corporate America and raised $5 million in venture capital to build the family management cloud platform About One and found a virtual accelerator for women called Colliders.
● Nancy Cleveland, co-founder and COO of Sustrana, a 2-year-old, self-funded company selling sustainability software and services to corporations.
● Claudia Timbo, a very experienced repeat entrepreneur who has sold two companies for more than $15 million and is on her way to repeating this with a third company, CompanyVoice.
● Melanie Tallent, CSO of LifeSplice Pharma, an SBIR grant-funded early-stage biotech company that is treating ALS and epilepsy.
● Lindsay Ifill, founder and CEO of Found Local, a brand new marketing company to help local brick-and-mortar companies increase local sales.
The event will run from 8 to 10 a.m. at Biztract in Malvern’s Great Valley Corporate Center. Register for free online here or email Nell Rose Phillips at nphillips@biztract.com.
“If you have any questions regarding an idea for business or if you are looking to leave a full-time job to start your own business, this is the event for you!”
