Yesterday, the Wall Street Journal began rolling out a series of articles, reports, and opinions exploring the professional lives of women. It’s a major success for gender diversity advocates like Sheryl Sandberg who are working to improve the conversation around equality in the workforce. In fact, Sandberg–who is Facebook’s CFO, and author of the best-selling “Lean In”–actually penned an op-ed piece for the Journal. By the article:

What’s Holding Women Back in the Workplace?

“Despite support at the top, gender equality is a long way off at most U.S. companies. A study by Lean In and McKinsey reveals why–and what employees and companies can do about it.”

Why aren’t More Women in C-Suite Jobs?

On Gender Diversity, CEO’s Can’t do it Alone

“If progress is slow, says McKinsey’s Dominic Barton, most employees simply don’t buy that its a priority.”

You could call it a #womancrushwednesday over at the Journal, but we won’t. Find even more articles here, including statistics and more info about the McKinsey-Lean In report.
